By downloading, installing or using the Online EMI apps ("App") you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms apply to retailers, distributors and customers who use the platform.
The App is used to finance smartphones on EMI and to secure the financed device until the agreed instalments are paid. By enrolling a device, the customer consents to the App being installed as a managed (device-owner) application that can restrict access to the device if payments are not made as agreed.
A pre-lock notice and grace period are provided before any restriction. The device is released immediately once the due payment is recorded.
Retailers are responsible for obtaining the customer's informed consent before enrolment, entering accurate EMI terms, and using the platform lawfully. Retailers must not use the lock feature for any purpose other than legitimate recovery of a financed device.
EMI amounts, tenure and schedules are agreed between the retailer and the customer at the point of sale. Online EMI provides the software to record and manage these payments but is not a party to the financing agreement between retailer and customer.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to tamper with, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the device management or security features of the App, nor use it to harass or unlawfully deprive any person of their device.
The App is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Online EMI is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the App, including loss resulting from misuse of accounts, incorrect EMI data entered by a retailer, or device compatibility issues.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
